For podcasters, YouTubers, writers and clubs
Run a free fantasy league for your audience.
Updated October 2026
Give your listeners, viewers or readers a league they can join with one link. You name it. Standings update on their own, and your audience roots for real wins together. Free to play and free to host.
What do I get as the host?
Your name on it.
You pick the league's name, so call it after your show, channel or newsletter. That is the name your audience sees on the standings.
One link to share.
Put it in your show notes, your newsletter or your video description. Anyone who taps it can join before picks lock.
We do the busywork.
Scores and standings update on their own as results come in. There is no spreadsheet to keep and no lineups to set.
Weekly recaps in football, basketball, Premier League and Serie A.
Season leagues in those sports send each member a recap email with their team and the standings. Not every event sends one yet, so the game you pick matters.
Free for you and for them.
Free to play and free to host. There are no prizes, just bragging rights.
Which game works for a big audience?
Salary Cap
- Everyone gets the same budget and sees the same prices.
- No draft night, so nobody has to be online at the same time.
- Room for up to 1,000 people in one league.
- Runs event by event, so what is open depends on the calendar.
Tiers
- No draft. Pick a set number from each tier, on your own time.
- Room for up to 1,000 people in one league.
- You start a private Tiers league on the sports that offer it and share one link, like Salary Cap.
Live Draft is the game for a smaller group, like a show’s hosts and a few guests. Each team belongs to one person, so the size depends on the sport. Read how a snake draft works.
How do I run a fantasy league for my audience?
- 1
Pick a game that fits a crowd
Open Explore and look for a Salary Cap or Tiers game. Neither has a draft, and each league has room for up to 1,000 people. What is open depends on the calendar, and Explore shows it.
- 2
Name it
Call it after your show, channel, newsletter or club. That is the name everyone sees.
- 3
Share one link
Put the invite link where your audience already is. They can join on a phone or a computer, with nothing to install.
- 4
Let it run
Everyone picks on their own time, before picks lock. After that, scores and standings update on their own as results come in.

How can I make the league part of my show?
Say your roster out loud.
Tell your audience who you picked and why, then ask them to beat you.
Read the standings.
They update on their own, so a weekly standings segment needs no spreadsheet.
Let your own AI write the blurb.
Ask ChatGPT or Claude for a fun recap of the week, and paste it into your newsletter or group chat.
Your members can also connect their own ChatGPT or Claude to their league. See how the AI connectors work, or the steps for ChatGPT and Claude.
Running a campus club or chapter?
Campus groups have their own pages: one for campus clubs and one for fraternities and sororities. The same free games work for any group that wants a league of its own.
Why Windom Sports
You draft what can win.
In team sports you pick whole teams, never a stat line. In golf, tennis and racing it is the golfer, the player or the driver. When they win, you win.
Root for the scoreboard.
No lineups to set and no stat sheets to study. Your audience roots for the same thing the team does.
A format for each sport.
Salary Cap, Tiers and Live Draft fit how each sport is played, so each sport gets the one that suits it.
Free for everyone, including the host.
No prizes and nothing to pay, whether you run the league or just join it.
Built for 2026.
Pick once and follow along. Or bring your own AI: ask ChatGPT or Claude to help you build a roster, or connect them to your league to check standings and make picks in select leagues.
Questions from podcasters, YouTubers and writers
Is it free to run a league for my audience?
Yes. Windom Sports is free to play and free to host, so you pay nothing and neither does anyone who joins. There are no prizes.
How many people can join?
A Salary Cap or Tiers league has room for up to 1,000 people, because anyone can pick any team and nobody waits for a turn. A Live Draft is different: each team belongs to one person, so it is sized to the sport. That is 2 to 7 people in the NBA, 2 to 8 in the NFL and the NHL, and 2 to 12 in college football. For an audience, pick Salary Cap or Tiers.
Which game works best for a big audience?
Salary Cap or Tiers, whichever the sport offers. Neither has a draft: you name the league, share one link, and everyone picks on their own time. Explore shows which one each sport has. Where a sport offers Tiers, you start a private Tiers league for your crowd, up to 1,000 people.
Will my audience get recap emails?
In this season's football, basketball, Premier League and Serie A leagues, yes. Members get a recap email once a week with their team and the standings, and it carries your league's name. Standings update on their own in every game, but not every event sends recap emails yet, so check the game you pick.
Can I name the league after my show?
Yes. You choose the league's name when you create it, so call it after your show, channel, newsletter or club. Everyone sees that name on the standings.
Do my members need an app?
No. They can join from your link in a browser, on a phone or a computer, with nothing to install. There is also an iPhone app.
Can my audience use ChatGPT or Claude?
Yes. Members can connect their own ChatGPT or Claude to check their league and make picks in select leagues. Setup takes about a minute. Claude works on free Claude, and ChatGPT needs a paid plan for now.
