Windom Sports is operated by Windom Sports LLC, a New Jersey limited liability company ("we," "us"). This policy explains what we collect and how we handle it.
When you use Windom Sports, we collect the following information:
If you turn on notifications in the iOS app, we store the device token Apple gives us so we can send you draft and results alerts; turning notifications off or signing out removes it. The iOS Home Screen widget shows your own team, rank and points; it uses a signed token stored on your device and reads nothing else.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share limited data with the following service providers, who process data only as needed to operate the Service:
We also run our own first-party analytics, which stays on our servers and is shared with no one. It records named in-app events (for example, opening the create-a-league flow or a scoring breakdown) along with a short-lived session ID that lives in your browser tab and lets us connect the steps of one visit. If you are signed in, the event is linked to your account. We use this only to see which parts of the Service people use, and it never follows you to other sites.
Your data is stored in a secure PostgreSQL database hosted by Neon. We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (SSL/TLS), secure authentication protocols via WorkOS, and encrypted data at rest. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.
We set two kinds of cookie, both our own:
We do not use third-party advertising cookies, cross-site tracking cookies, or third-party analytics cookies. The analytics described in section 3 set no cookie at all: Vercel Analytics is cookieless, and our own event tracking uses a session ID stored in your browser tab, which your browser clears when you close the tab.

You can opt out of non-essential emails at any time. Transactional emails related to account security cannot be opted out of.
We do not send text messages. We never share, sell, rent, or disclose your phone number to anyone for marketing or any other purpose.
You can connect Windom Sports to an AI assistant such as Claude or ChatGPT. You start the connection from inside the assistant, sign in to Windom Sports, and approve it. Once connected, the assistant acts on your behalf and can only do what you could do on the site yourself:
It can't change league settings, show other members' picks before they lock, or reach anyone else's account. There is no money involved: Windom Sports is free to play, with no prizes and no wagering.
What we log: for each request the assistant makes, we record which connected app made it, which tool it used, when, whether it worked, which league it touched, and for a picks change which teams were added or removed. We do not receive or store your conversation with the assistant. These records are kept for up to 90 days to operate and secure the Service, and after that only as aggregate daily counts that do not identify you. We store the connection itself (the app's name, when you connected, and when it was last used) until you disconnect it or it expires.
We do not sell or share this information, and we do not send your Windom Sports data to an assistant you have not connected. Your conversation with the assistant, including what it does with the answers we return, is governed by that provider's own privacy policy.
Disconnecting: go to Account Settings, then AI assistants, and tap Disconnect. Access ends right away. You can also remove Windom Sports from the assistant's own settings. Questions? Contact us at privacy@windomsports.com.
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. League data (draft picks, scores, standings) is retained for the duration of the competition and for historical purposes. When you delete your account from Account Settings, you are signed out and have 14 days to undo it. After those 14 days, usually within a day, we delete your sign-in account and activity history and replace your name, email address and team names. Your past picks and results stay in league standings under the name “Deleted User” so other members' standings stay correct.

We process your personal data on the following legal bases:
Windom Sports is operated from the United States. Your data is processed by US-based services including Vercel (hosting), Neon (database), WorkOS (authentication), and Upstash (caching). If you are located outside the United States, your data will be transferred to and processed in the US.
These transfers are conducted under standard contractual clauses and applicable privacy frameworks. Our service providers maintain appropriate safeguards for international data transfers in accordance with applicable data protection laws.

The Service is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected such information, we will take steps to delete it promptly.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes by posting a notice on the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
