Our 2026 World Cup leaguesHow does Women’s World Cup fantasy work?
How it would work in 2027. Details may change before leagues open.
Draft whole national teams
You and your friends pick national teams, not individual players. The teams you draft are the ones you root for.
Follow them from the group stage to the final
Your teams score as they win. Scores and standings update on their own, so there is nothing to set between matches.
Root for the scoreboard
No lineups to set and no stat sheets to read. If you can pick a team to root for, you are in.
How did World Cup fantasy work on Windom Sports in 2026?
In 2026, friends in our World Cup leagues drafted whole national teams and followed them from the group stage through the final. Scores and standings updated on their own, with no lineups to set along the way.
How does Women’s World Cup fantasy scoring work?
Scoring for the 2027 tournament is not set yet, so we are not printing point values. For reference, this is how scoring worked in our 2026 World Cup leagues:
- A group-stage win scored points, and a draw scored less than a win.
- Finishing near the top of a group earned a bonus.
- Knockout wins were worth more in the later rounds, and the final was worth the most.
- The champion earned a bonus.
The core idea carries into 2027: when your teams win, you score.
Why Windom Sports

- A format built for each sport. Each sport gets a game that fits how it is actually played.
- Free for everyone. Free to play and free to host, including whoever runs the league.
- Built for right now. Draft once and just read the email updates, or connect ChatGPT or Claude and make picks from there in select leagues. See the connectors
